Issam Eid

Issam Eid is a motoring afficionado since his early days. His writing started when his family acquired the rights to publish Arabwheels magazine. He has been a dedicated contributor since 2005 and one of the magazine's main fly-away reporters. From September 2011, he is the actual Editor-in-Chief of both the print magazine and website.

Issam's current daily driver is a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, and his Sunday car is a 1970 C-Class Mercedes Coupe Convertible which has a rich history. Issam has owned several different vehicles over the past few years and has experimented with the ownership experience of several brands most notably Mercedes Benz and BMW.

Issam has also driven a great many cars around the world  both  for private and reporting purposes, the most powerful of which was the Lamborghini Aventador, in Autodromo Circuit in Rome - Italy, and the weakest being a 70hp Smart Fortwo puttering around Beirut. The Fastest Issam has driven at was 280kph on board the Audi RS6 down the Losail Track Straight in Dubai, his speed was severely limited by a health and safety pre-occupied instructor in the passenger seat.
