ArabWheels 10th Anniversary (2002-2012)

Welcome to ArabWheels 10th Anniversary!

In this edition, you can surf the 20 special pages where we have focused on two things. First, we cover the magazine’s greatest achievements over the years and remember the people who passed through this famous motoring mag. Then we show you all of our covers over the last decade, along with a statistic from our Facebook page that answers the question: When did you start reading ArabWheels magazine?

We dedicate another section to automaker executives who give us their testimonials on the 10th Anniversary. We also choose the Top 10 Cars we have driven throughout the 10 years. And we conclude our feature with a personal look at the actual team behind ArabWheels.

I sincerely hope you enjoy our tribute to this fantastic first decade!

The Most Expensive Car Crash Ever? Eight Ferraris in Supercar Pile-Up

It could be the most expensive car crash ever. This was the scene after 14 luxury cars - including eight Ferraris - were involved in a pricey pile-up in western Japan. A Lamborghini and two Mercedes were also involved in the smash.

The damage caused to many of the vehicles was thought to be so severe that they will have to be scrapped. Ten drivers were reportedly taken to hospital after the incident but no-one was seriously hurt. The accident is understood to have happened after one of the Ferrari drivers lost control on a wet road.

“Roma Capitale e Lamborghini” is where the innovative Aventador LP700-4 was launched. I can admit that what I saw and drove in Italy wasn’t just a car but a raging bull full of impending energy dying to be thrown out. That impending energy was thrown out at the finest track in Rome, “Autodromo di Vallelunga”.

Test Drive: Porsche Driving School, For Drivers who Relish a Challenge

Leipzig, a city located in East Germany near the Polish border, well-known in the 17th century for its learning and culture in areas such as music, astronomy and optics, was ranked 35th in the world out of 256 cities for cultural, economic and social innovation. But the purpose of our trip was for the Porsche Sport Driving School. The question remains: Why in Leipzig? The answer is quite straight: It is the city where the Porsche Cayenne and Panamera are produced, and most recently, is where the Cajun project was confirmed.
